  • The World's Gone Mad

Hello my friend,

I'm glad you're here. You have questions, and I want to share my hope with you. His name is Yeshua, that's Hebrew for Jesus. In Hebrew, Yeshua means "salvation". He is the Creator of everything that you see as well as all that you don't see - in the spiritual realm. He is One with God, and He is God (John 1).

He is Good. He is Pure Love, He is Light, the image of the invisible God. He loves you, and He sacrificed Himself for you so that you could be reconciled to the Father and forgiven of your sins. He is your only Hope of Shalom and Life, both now and for all of eternity (Colossians 1).

All who trust in Him will be saved.

Humanity is at the end of an age

And, Yeshua's Messianic Kingdom is drawing near.

Messianic Kingdom

There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots. The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon HIm, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord....the wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, the leopard shall lie down with the young goat, the calf and the young lion and the falling together; and a little child shall lead them. The cow and the bear shall graze; their young ones shall lie down together; and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. The nursing child shall play by the cobra's hole, and the weaned child shall put his hand in the viper's den. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain, for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea, Isaiah 11:1-2; 6-9.

Behold, the Man whose name is the BRANCH! From His place He shall branch out, and He shall build the temple of the Lord; Yes, He shall build the temple of the Lord. He shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule on His throne; So He shall be a priest on His throne, and the counsel of peace shall be between them both, Zechariah 6:12-13.

...the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end, Luke 1:33.

The Great Tribulation

But first, there will be a time of trouble. A trouble, the likes of which have never been nor ever will be again (Matthew 24:21). This is not only a fierce battle on the earth, but it is a great spiritual battle between darkness and light. The present ruler of this world is Satan (John 14:30). He has influence over all those who have not trusted in Yeshua as their Savior and Lord (1 John 5:19). He knows that His time is short and that the King is coming soon, and he is doing all that he can to stop His arrival.

This, of course, is impossible.

And yet, God in His Sovereignty and His righteous judgment has decreed a seven-year period of testing and trial to come upon the whole world (described as the time of Jacob's trouble in Jeremiah 30). This time is also known as Daniel's 70th week (Daniel 9:27) during which time a false Messiah, widely known as the "Antichrist' will be revealed and given authority to deceive the world and to persecute God's covenant people (Daniel 7-12; Revelation 13).

This false Messiah will be charismatic, initially appearing to be a man of peace (Daniel 9:27). Alongside a false prophet, he will deceive most of the world and convince them that his plan will usher in a time of security and safety. He will recover from a mortal wound, and all the world will marvel. They (the false Messiah and false Prophet) will perform many signs, miracles, and wonders that will persuade many that he is the world's true Messiah. They will coerce all people to take his mark, his name, or his number on their right hand or forehead. Those who refuse his mark will not be able to buy or sell. Those who refuse to worship the false Messiah will be killed (Revelation 13).

Ultimately, this false Messiah will sit in the temple in Jerusalem and declare himself to be God (2 Thessalonians 2:3-4). This marks the beginning of the worst time in human history, the second half of the seven-year tribulation. When you see this happen, and you live in Israel, Yeshua warns that you should run to the mountains to escape (Matthew 24:15-25). If God Himself did not intervene, no one would survive.

Do not take his mark.

The Overcomers

Those who receive the mark of the false Messiah will experience the judgment and wrath of God for rejecting His invitation of grace, mercy, love, and truth (Revelation 6:15-17; Revelation 14:9-11).

You must overcome.

Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death, Revelation 12:10-11.

Remember that even if you are here on the earth during the Great Tribulation, whether you are a Jew or non-Jew, there is still time to repent—turn away from your sin and rebellion against God—and turn to Yeshua to receive His cleansing, forgiveness, and eternal life (see Romans chapters 9-11). You must be born again of His Spirit (John 3:5-8) to become a true child of God (1 John 5:18).

For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame. For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved, Romans 10:11-13.

Antisemitism & Replacement Theology

Sadly, the Western "church" has been corrupted since the first century by false teachers who have promoted antisemitism and a "replacement theology" stating that the church has replaced Israel as God's covenant people. These false teachers continue today. This is the reason why many professing "Christians" deny the truth of God's eternal covenant and deliverance for the nation and people of Israel. These apostates tend to allegorize or spiritualize the prophetic scriptures, particularly those related to Israel. They are blind to biblical prophecy because of this deception and will miss the signs of His appearing (Hebrews 9:28; 1 Thessalonians 4:15-18; 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12), and the catching away, also known as the rapture, of the true church, (the Bride of Christ, 1 Corinthians 15:50-58; 2 Corinthians 11:2; Revelation 19:7-8).

Just as in the days of Noah, many were distracted by life's busyness during the 100 years Noah preached and built the ark, and they didn't recognize the signs of impending judgment until it was too late. The same is true today, Matthew 24:36-44; Luke 21:34-36..

God's word and His promises are true.

For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. And so all Israel will be saved as it is written...Romans 11:25-26.

Thus says the LORD, who gives the sun for a light by day, the ordinances of the moon and the stars for a light by night, who disturbs the sea, and its waves roar (The LORD of hosts is His name): If those ordinances depart from before Me, says the LORD, then the seed of Israel shall also cease from being a nation before Me forever, Jeremiah 31:35-36.

The Deliverance & restoration of Israel

At the end of the Great Tribulation, as the nations surround and besiege Jerusalem, His remnant (Isaiah 10:20-23; Isaiah 11:11) will recognize their True Messiah, Yeshua, the Lion of Judah, and they will cry out in repentance, "Baruch Haba B'Shem Adonai" (בָּרוּךְ הַבָּא בְּשֵׁם יְהוָה), "Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord" (Matthew 23:39; Zechariah 12-14).

Then, King Yeshua will return to deliver Israel and establish His glorious Kingdom (Zechariah 14:9; Revelation 11:15). He will reign with true justice and righteousness from His Throne on Mount Zion in a literal Jerusalem for one thousand years, as described in Revelation 19. He'll destroy the false Messiah and his evil followers, cast Satan into the pit, and remove all wickedness and rebellion from the earth. He will judge the nations and separate the sheep nations from the goat nations in accordance with how they treated Israel (Matthew 25:31-46; see also Zechariah 12:9; 14:12-16; Joel 3).

In those days, ten men from every language of the nations shall grasp the sleeve of a Jewish man, saying, "Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you", Zechariah 8:23.

In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice, Genesis 22:18.

Paul writes that when Israel is restored, the entire world will be blessed through them (Romans 11). Salavation is of the Jews (John 4:22). When Yeshua establishes His Kingdom in Israel, this will be the fulfillment of God's eternal covenant with Abraham (Genesis 12:3; 18:18; 22:18). If nations or individuals want to be blessed, they will bless Israel (Genesis 12:3).

Tribulation Saints

As horrible as things will get on earth during the Great Tribulation when all evil is unleashed, it's not to be compared with the horror of an eternal separation from God in the blackness of hell. There is still a window to receive God's grace and mercy if you do not bow to the false Messiah.

Do not take his mark (Revelation 14:9-13).

Do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell, Matthew 10:28.

These are the ones who come out of the Great Tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore, they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His temple. And He who sits on the throne will dwell among them. They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any heat; for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes, Revelation, 7:14-17.

Beloved, cling to Yeshua and His Word, and hold fast in faith until He comes.

Father God, I lift up all who will read these words that you might encourage them and strengthen them through the power of your Holy Spirit. If any do not yet know you, let them have an encounter with Yeshua so that they would experience your peace, love, mercy, forgiveness and compassion. I thank you that as they turn to you in faith, you will fill them with your Holy Spirit and that they will become born again of your Holy Spirit through the atoning sacrifice of Yeshua. Amen.
